Palm Beach County CanesFest Set For Sunday, Aug. 4

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – Head coach Larry Coker and members of the University of Miami football team will join UM student-athletes from several other sports when they take part in CanesFest 2002 Sunday afternoon, August 4, beginning at 1 p.m. at the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach. Admission is free.
Admission is free with free food provided by Jerry’s Catering. The event, hosted by the Palm Beach County chapter of the Hurricane Club, will feature interactive games for kids, player autographs sessions, player contests, auction items, Sebastian the Ibis, and the University of Miami Cheerleaders.
Fans also will get a chance to view the premiere showing of UM’s “Feel the Fury” football promotional campaign, featuring the first glimpse of Hurricanes football stars as action heroes.
