Baseball Moves Up To No. 19 In The RPI

Coral Gables, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) — – Following the three games with Jacksonville this past weekend at Mark Light Stadium, the University of Miami baseball team finds itself ranked 19th in the latest Boyd’s World pseudo-Ratings Power Index (pseudo RPI’s).
The Hurricanes have five top-13 opponents in Florida State (#3), Georgia Tech (#4), Houston (#6), Florida (#9) and North Carolina (#13), while 14 are rated among the top 54.
Miami has 2002 quality pseudo RPI victories over #3 Florida State, #4 Georgia Tech, #13 North Carolina, #23 Cal State Fullerton, #28 FIU, #32 Long Beach State (two), #39 Elon, #40 South Florida, #48 FAU, #51 Tennessee (two) and #54 Rutgers.
