(www.hurricanesports.com) – – Monte McMillan, dallas, tx to the team: congrats guys i have been a cane fan since i went to school at homestead sr high school. played ball with barrows and a couple of others. just glad to see the program is back on top and that everybody’s mouth is shut. this should have been a back to back championship and you guys going for your third. i will be watching u go for your second championship next season. proud of you guys.

Daniel Barber, New York/NY to To the entire team: I’ve been a fan of the ‘Canes since I was knee-high to a grasshopper (3-years old in 1968), and have seen many great ‘Canes teams.

Prior to this year, I would have said the 1987 team that won the title was my favorite team, simply because they avenged our devastating disappointment of the previous year, and showed as much heart and determination as any team I’d watched until you guys.
