3 Miami Football Players Undergo Minor Surgery

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – Three University of Miami football players have undergone minor surgical procedures.
Senior offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie had minor surgery on his left knee Monday to repair damage from an injury suffered in Miami’s 26-24 win over Virginia Tech Saturday at Blacksburg, Va. McKinnie underwent arthroscopy during which bone chips were removed from his left knee. McKinnie is expected to be fully recovered for the bowl game.
Senior linebacker Chris Campbell and junior defensive tackle William Joseph also underwent minor surgeries to address knee problems. Neither Campbell nor Joseph is expected to miss Miami’s upcoming game in the Rose Bowl.
