Single-game football tickets for all 2001 University of Miami home football games – except for the September 15 clash with Washington – will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, August 1, the Hurricane Ticket Office announced. Single-game tickets to the Washington game will go on sale to the general public on Monday, August 20.
Fans interested in guaranteeing seats for the clash with Washington can go ahead and purchase those tickets as part of UM’s Conference Champs Package, combining a ticket to the Washington game with entry to the Oct. 6 clash with Troy State for $47. The Conference Champs Package is available now at the UM Ticket Office.

Miami kicks off the 2001 season on September 1 at Penn State in a game that will be nationally televised by ABC Sports beginning at 8 p.m. The Hurricanes return to the Orange Bowl to begin their home schedule with a Sept. 8 clash with Rutgers in a game slated for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
