CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Kids, if you are between the ages of five and thirteen,and you think you have what it takes to be a PA Announcer, then wait nolonger. Enter for your chance to win the Announce the Batters on JuniorCanes Day Contest. All you have to do is call our marketing department at305.284.2400 for an audition. You will have 30 seconds to give a sampleplayer introduction, make a home run call or an announcement of your choice.Samples are listed below, so that you can practice.

One lucky winner will have the chance to assist Jay Rokeach, the Universityof Miami baseball announcer, for one inning during the March 18th Universityof Miami baseball game against East Carolina University. This promotion isa part of the Junior Canes Day, also held on March 18th. Admission for allJunior ‘Canes Club Members will be FREE so be sure to come out and supportyour ‘Canes. Junior ‘Canes members are going to have the chance to paradearound the field before the game.
