Miami-Virginia Tech Sold Out

Coral Gables, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – The Miami-Virginia Tech game on Saturday, November 4, is sold out. The sell out marks the second of the 2000 season for the Hurricanes. UM sold out its annual match-up with then top-ranked Florida State on October 7.

A total of 80,905 fans were in attendance at the Orange Bowl for the Sunshine State Showdown with the Seminoles. The crowd marked the third largest in UM history. Miami defeated Florida State, 27-24.
