I definitely think we have the talent on our side to bring back thatdominance from the early 90’s, we just have to go out there and not beatourselves. When we execute the way that we know how, we are unstoppable.

Q: In 1998, a plane took off from L.A. bound to Miami. Inthat plane, there were 151 passengers, 150 Bruins and 1 Hurricane, me. Nobody believed mewhen I said Miami is going to beat second rank UCLA. Everybodylaughed and thought I was crazy for flying all the way to Miami for a game.Well, guess what, this year I am flying from L.A. to Miami to seeMiami vs. FSU and Miami vs. Virginia Tech. Get the Hint , )Call me a guru, I rather have the nickname “Merlin.” But there issomething I need to know.My questions to you are:
What is the status on Davenport? What about Jackson?Do you think like I do when I say that yourself, Moss and Wayne arethe most fearsome receiving corp in the nation?Ken Dorsey in my opinion is a better fit to the Hurricanes than KennyKelly was.I think he is a lot more accurate than Kelly was (15 interceptionsjust doesn’t cut it not counting the number of off the mark passes). What do youthink about Dorsey’s passing abilities?
PS. I work in L.A. so the hardest thing for me is knowing that I can’thave season tickets to see the ‘Canes THIS YEAR.

Just keep on doing what you do, those are two of the best teams that wewill face this year and we need all the help we can get. Najeh andJames are both doing fine, everybody’s one hundred per cent and ready to go forthe season.
As a receiving unit we think that we have the ability to go out andwin football games solely at our position, but we still have to prove it.We push each other in and out of practice in order to become the best. Weare a very close-knit group that just wants to win the National Championship,that’s all… not too much to ask. On Ken, he’s a great student of thegame, he studies hard and he works his butt off. He will surprise a lot ofpeople this year.

Without letting the cat out of the bag, we are doing some things withinour offense that will surprise a lot of people come game day.
We are going to try and utilize all of our weapons, whatever it takes towin football games.

A: Hi Jimmy,
We plan to mix it up and get the guys who are making the plays the ball.The good thing about our offense is that we have so many weapons thatdefenses won’t be able to key on one position of our offense. Being thatour new slogan this year is “The Attack is Back” we will have the widereceiver attack, the running back attack and the quarterback attack. Wehave to keep our opponents and you fans on our toes!
Our O-line has a lot of young talent with speed and blocking ability tocreate plays downfield with their athletic ability.
