2020 Indoor: Began the indoor season winning the women’s weight throw at the Wolverine Invitational with a then-personal best mark of 20.97m, which ranks fifth in Miami history and meet record… Finished fifth in the weight throw at the Vanderbilt Invitational with a 20.14m mark… Returned to competition with a second-place finish in the weight at Texas Tech with a mark of 19.62m and a 14.24m mark in the shot put… Won the weight throw at the Tiger Paw Invite with a personal-best mark of 21.13m, improving her fifth-best mark in program history… Won her first ACC title in the women’s weight throw with a personal best and ACC Indoor Championship record mark of 22.55m, which ranks as Miami’s program record and qualified her for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships with the fourth-best mark in the nation… Recorded a lifetime best throw in the women’s shot put of 16.80m to win the shot put title at the ACC Indoor Championships… Garnered the ACC Field MVP Award.

2018 Indoor: Finished sixth in the women’s shot put at the UAB Blazer Invitational with a throw of 14.17m…Placed 12th in weight throw at UAB Blazer Invitational with a mark of 16.33m…Won the women’s weight throw at the Red Raider Open with a personal-best mark of 18.47m…Finished sixth in the shot put at the Red Raider Open with a mark of 13.56m…Finished third in the women’s open weight throw at the Power 5 Invitational with a mark of 17.78m…Was seventh in the women’s shot put at the Power 5 Invitational with a season-best mark of 14.73m…finished sixth in the women’s shot put at the ACC Indoor Championships with a personal-best mark of 15.10m that added three points to the Hurricanes’ team score.

Ajagbe is a Miami native that chose to continue her academic and athletic career with the hometown Hurricanes. A gifted thrower, Ajagbe is a three–time Florida Class 2A state champion in the discus and was the 2017 state champion in the shot put one year after finishing as the state runner-up in the event. A first team All-Dade selection, Ajagbe was the 2017 Florida Relays girls’ shot put and discus champion and was the 2016 FHSAA district and regional champion in both the shot put and discus and won the discus at the 2016 Louie Bing Classic and the 2016 FSU Relays. She has a personal-best mark of 46’10” (14.27 meters) in the shot put and 169’3″ (51.59 meters) in the discus. Ajagbe ranked 13th in the final all-class high school national ranking in the girl’s discus.
