•Appeared in a team-high 43 games
•Finished the season with the team’s lowest ERA (1.86)
•Tossed the most innings of any non-starter (63.0)
•Tied with fellow reliever Carlos Gutierrez for a staff-high 17 appearances in ACC play
•Owned team’s second-best strikeout-to-walk ratio (5.8-to-1), striking out 75 while walking just 13
•Longest ’08 outing: 2.2 innings against Arizona in game one of the Coral Gables Super Regional (6/6)
•Did not allow a single run in his first 14 appearances of the season (21.1 innings)
•Held opponents scoreless in 34 of his 43 appearances

•Struck out 15 batters on the year (1.67 K/IP)
•Opposing batters hit .282 against him
• Allowed 11 hits on the season
•Best outing of the year came against rival FSU (4/28), holding the Seminoles scoreless in 1.1 innings, allowing two hits while striking out two
•First career appearance came against Mercer in the second game of the season (2/3)
•Tossed one scoreless inning vs. Duke (5/19), striking out one while allowing one hit
•Struck out two in 2/3 of an inning in a 9-3 UM win over the Blue Devils (5/17)

•Played four years at Cypress Bay and was a member of the 2004 6A State Championship Team
•Compiled a 21-2 record with 192 strikeouts in his high school career
