CAREER: Sophomore pass-rushing interior defensive lineman who played end and tackle in high school…Moved to defensive tackle on the college level…Relentless player who has shown exceptional agility and gets leverage against blockers…Sat out the 2004 season and enrolled at Miami in January 2005…Was redshirted as a true freshman and played in one game in 2006…Sports administration major.

2008 (JUNIOR): Played in all 13 games, making nine starts at left defensive tackle … Totaled 17 tackles (11 solo, six assisted), with 4.5 tackles for loss, two QB pressures and one sack … Recorded a season-high five tackles at Georgia Tech … Picked up a sack in win against Virginia Tech.

2007 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 10 games, making five starts … Totaled 25 tackles (15th on the team), with two tackles for loss, six QB pressures and a half sack … Saw action on 19 plays at Oklahoma and made three assisted tackles … Made the first start of his career at defensive tackle against FIU and played 23 snaps, making three assisted tackles and one QB pressure … Made his second start against Georgia Tech and saw the most extensive action of his career, starting at defensive tackle and madking one solo tackle … Played as a reserve defensive tackle at Florida State, making a career-high nine tackles (four solo), with one tackle for loss and two QB pressures … Started at defensive tackle vs. Virginia and made two tackles (one solo), with a half tackle for loss … Started at defensive tackle at Virginia Tech and made four tackles (one solo) … Shared a sack, the first of his career, adding a half tackle for loss and one QB pressure against the Hokies.
