Finished 10-4 with a 2.50 ERA and 63 strikeouts in 90 innings in his inaugural season with the Hurricanes… Went 6-2 with a 1.93 ERA in ACC games… Started 13 of 16 games for Miami and recorded one save… His first career start came against Elon on Feb. 24 (UM won, 17-4)… Posted his second win of the season over third-ranked Florida State 5/25), tossing a career-long 8.0 innings in a 9-3 win at the ACC Tournament… Tossed 7.2 innings in a 5-1 win against Duke (5/18) in Coral Gables, holding the Blue Devils to just one run on seven hits while striking out three… At Wake Forest (5/12), tossed three full innings in a continuation of game one of the series, two-hitting the Demon Deacons as Miami won 9-8 in 14 innings. Thirty minutes later, he started game two of the series and tossed five more innings, limiting Wake Forest to just one unearned run on three hits… Scattered six hits over six innings and struck out three in the series finale at FSU (4/29), lifting UM to a 7-1 win over the top-ranked Seminoles… Pitched six innings and limited No. 11 Clemson to three runs in a 10-3 win on the road (3/30)… Struck out a career-high 11 in seven innings at Maryland (3/16), holding the Terps scoreless in a 13-3 UM win… Tossed a career-long eight innings and struck out five in an 8-1 win vs. Fordham (3/3)… Against UCLA (2/9), struck out five in four innings of work and gave up only two hits to earn his first career save in his first career appearance…
