Appeared in 20 games in his two-year UM career, including 15 last season … Is 2-1 in his career with an overall ERA of 4.29 … Spent most of his time as a short relief man, but did start one game last season against FIU (4/23).

SOPHOMORE SEASON – 2008
•Started one game and came out of the bullpen on 14 occasions
•Has fourth-lowest ERA (3.32) of all UM relievers
•Longest ’08 outing: 4.0 innings (FIU – 4/23)
•Held opponents to one earned run or fewer in 13 of 14 relief appearances
•Recorded his two wins against Boston College (3/8) and Maine (3/12)
•Allowed two hits or fewer in 12 of 15 appearances
•Allowed only three extra-base hits all season (2B vs. FIU – 4/23, 2B vs. Virginia – 5/25, 3B vs. Stanford – 6/18)
•Recorded a season-high three strikeouts three times (Lehigh – 3/4, BC – 3/8, FAU – 4/16)
•Had a 2.84 ERA in 12 1/3 innings of work in non-conference play
•One of just three UM hurlers to not allow a home run all season

FRESHMAN SEASON – 2007
•Appeared in just five games and posted an 8.31 ERA
•Struck out four in 4.1 innings and allowed four earned runs
•Pitched an inning against Maryland (3/16) and allowed one run on one hit
•Against St. Bonaventure (3/6), lasted just 2/3 of an inning and allowed two runs on one hit and walked two
•Tossed a career-high 1.2 innings vs. Fordham (3/2), not allowing a run while striking out a career-high three batters
•Struck out two of the four batters he faced in UM exhibition game against the Marlins (2/27)
•At Florida (2/16), Held the Gators to just one hit, but allowed two unearned runs
•Made first career appearance against No. 11 UCLA (2/10), giving up two runs on two hits before exiting in the first inning

PREP CAREER
•Played for Mike Moss at Chaminade-Madonna Prep
•Named to both the Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel All-Broward First Team as a senior in 2006
•Went 7-2 with a 1.11 ERA with four shutouts and a save as a senior
•Named MVP of the 2006 Perfect Game’s World Wood Bat summer
championship with the Florida Bombers after allowing just four hits in 12.1 innings while striking out 15 strikeouts and walking just one
