Tossed a career-high 1.2 innings vs. Fordham (3/2), not allowing a run while striking out a career-high three batters
Struck out two of the four batters he faced in UM exhibition game against the Marlins (2/27)
At Florida (2/16), Held the Gators to just one hit, but allowed two unearned runs
Made first career appearance against No. 11 UCLA (2/10), giving up two runs on two hits before exiting in the first inning

Played for Mike Moss at Chaminade-Madonna Prep
Named to both the Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel All-Broward First Team as a senior in 2006
Went 7-2 with a 1.11 ERA with four shutouts and a save as a senior
Named MVP of the 2006 Perfect Game’s World Wood Bat summer
championship with the Florida Bombers after allowing just four hits in 12.1 innings while striking out 15 strikeouts and walking just one
