2008 (JUNIOR): Started seven of 13 games at left cornerback … Tallied 25 tackles (22 solo, three assisted), 1.5 tackles for loss and six pass breakups … Had a season-high four tackles against North Carolina … Registered at least three tackles in games against Florida, Texas A&M, UCF, Wake Forest and Georgia Tech … Forced a fumble against UCF.

 

2007 (SOPHOMORE): Played as the nickel back all season … Started five games, playing in all 12 contests … Set season highs with 26 tackles (21 solo), adding his second career interception … Started the season opener against Marshall as the nickel back and saw action in 52 plays, making three solo tackles … Made his first interception of the season against FIU just before halftime, returning it 43 yards … Saw extensive defensive action on 45 plays agains Duke, tallying two tackles (one solo) and a QB pressure … Made a career-high six solo tackles at Boston College.

 

2006 (FRESHMAN): Played as a true freshman in 12 games, making five starts … Played as the team’s nickel back most of the season … Tallied 24 tackles, two tackles for loss, one interception, one QB pressure, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and three pass deflections … His two takeaways were key plays in two of the team’s seven victories … Named the team’s Defensive Rookie of the Year … Played in his first collegiate game as a reserve cornerback vs. Florida A&M … Played most of the game as a nickel and dime back vs. Houston, tallying three tackles (two solo), including one tackle for loss and a fumble recovery that stopped a Houston drive on the 8-yard line in the third quarter … Made his first collegiate start at nickel back against North Carolina and saw action on 38 plays, making two solo tackles … Made his first-ever start at left cornerback at Duke, seeing action on all 70 defensive plays making three solo tackles and forcing a fumble that led to a TD … Started as the nickel back vs. Boston College and made two assisted tackles … Started as the nickel back in the MPC Computers Bowl vs. Nevada and totaled four tackles (two solo) … Also made a diving interception of a pass at the 33-yard line on the final play of the game to clinch the victory.
