2008 (SENIOR): Played in two games against Florida and Texas A&M, making a start against the Gators … Suffered an injury against the Aggies and missed the remainder of the season … Awarded a medical hardship and returns for the 2009 season.

 

2007 (JUNIOR): Played in all 12 games, garnering four starts … Made the switch to safety in the third game of the season and finished with 34 tackles – two for losses -and forced a pair of fumbles … Intercepted two passes in the win over in-state rival Florida State … Started at left cornerback and played 62 downs, with eight tackles (six solo), including two tackles for loss against Marshall … Started at right cornerback and played 63 downs at Oklahoma, making six tackles (three solo), and also forcing a fumble and making a fumble recovery … Moved to safety during practice the week of the FIU game and ended up playing 26 snaps and making four tackles (two solo) … Played on special teams and saw extensive action at safety making five tackles (three solo) in win over Texas A&M … Played as a reserve safety and on special teams against Duke tallying three tackles on defense (two solo) and forcing a fumble that led to a touchdown … Had his best game of the season as a backup safety and nickel back in win at Florida State when he made two interceptions (the third and fourth of his career and the third straight year he has had at least one) … Started at safety and played 29 downs, making one assisted tackle and notching his team-leading third interception of the season, returning it 24 yards against Virginia … Started at safety and made two solo tackles at Virginia Tech … Played on special teams in games against Duke, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech and Texas A&M.

 

2006 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 12 games, making eight starts at cornerback … Finished with 30 tackles, 11 pass deflections (second most on the team) and one interception … Ranked eighth in the ACC with 11 passes defended … Made his first collegiate start at right cornerback in the season opener vs. Florida State, making six tackles (three solo) … Started against FAMU and played most of the game, making one assist … Started at Louisville, making three tackles (two solo) and one pass defensed … Made two solo tackles and notched his first interception of the season, returning it 15 yards against North Carolina … Started against Virginia Tech, making one solo tackle … Started at Maryland, making two solo tackles … Made three tackles at Virginia in another starting role … Started in the MPC Computers Bowl vs. Nevada and registered a career-high seven tackles (six solo), with three pass deflections.

 

2005 (FRESHMAN): Played in eight games as a true freshman, usually as the nickel back on defense … Totaled 11 tackles (10 solo), one tackle for loss, one pass breakup, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery … Also made one interception, returning it for 55 yards … Saw action in his first game as a Hurricane at Clemson as the nickel and dime back, making one solo tackle and forcing a fumble … Played against North Carolina and made two solo tackles while also picking up his first career interception in the fourth quarter, returning it 55 yards (the team’s longest of the season) … Played as the nickel back against LSU in the Peach Bowl.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: As a senior in 2004, helped team to a 12-1 record and recorded 57 tackles and four interceptions while playing safety and cornerback in seven games … Played running back on offense, scoring 11 touchdowns, with 710 yards rushing and six receptions for 85 yards … Averaged 35 yards as a punter … As a junior, was named All-County and racked up 97 tackles, four interceptions and posted an impressive 10 forced fumbles … Played in the postseason CaliFlorida Bowl … Rated the No. 7 safety prospect by Rivals.com and the No. 16 safety by Scout.com … The No. 18 prospect by the Tampa Tribune and the No. 57 prospect in Florida by the Orlando Sentinel … Member of the Florida Times-Union Super 75 … Coached by Larry Coffey.
