29 Hurricanes Qualify for NCAA East Prelims

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Twenty-nine members of the University of Miami track and field team will vie for a berth into the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships as they qualified for the NCAA East First Round held at the UK Track & Field Complex on the campus of the University of Kentucky May 27-30.

A total of 19 women and 10 men make up the contingent of Hurricanes that will compete in individual events along with the men’s 4×100 and women’s 4×100 and 4×400 relays.

The top 12 finishers from each event will earn a spot in the NCAA Championships field held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, June 10-13.

Each day of competition at the NCAA East First Round will be streamed on ESPN+ while live results can be found on www.flashresults.com.
