14 Hurricanes Receive 2023 Cross Country ACC All-Academic Honors

CORAL GABLES Fla. – 14 Miami cross-country team members have been named a part of the ACC’s All-Academic team for 2023, the conference announced Friday.

The seven female and seven male athletes from this past season’s cross country team named ACC-All Academic Honors are listed below with their respective areas of study:

Lexine Arambulo – Political Science

Bianca Bonato – Geological Sciences

Daphnee Lavassas – Political Science

Emma Maurel – Education and Social Change

Madeline Scheier -Elementary Education

Brin Strouse – Natural Hazards and Catastrophes

Natalie Varela – Sports Administration 

Austen Cannon – Finance

Michael Castillo – Biology

Cormac O’Brien – Media Management

David Stager – Political Science

Matthew Thomas – Biology

Alec Torricella – Exercise Physiology

Nico Valentine – Accounting
