Miami Moves Up In ITA Team Rankings

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – After posting a four straight wins over the last two weeks, the University of Miami men’s tennis team cracked the top 25 in the ITA team rankings, checking in at No. 21. The Hurricanes are one of four ACC teams ranked in the top 25 this week.

Miami sits at 9-1 on the season, with the only loss coming over ITA Kickoff Weekend to then-No. 2 Baylor. The Hurricanes are most recently coming off a 2-0 weekend, besting then-No. 33 Florida Atlantic 4-1 and Liberty 7-0.

Miami opens ACC play on Friday when it hosts the No. 7 Wake Forest Demon Deacons at 4 p.m. at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center. The first 50 fans will receive free pizza and a raffle ticket for an authentic Miami match shirt.
