Piric Announces 2019 Fall M. Tennis Schedule
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami head men’s tennis coach Aljosa Piric announced Friday the team’s schedule for the upcoming fall season.
The Hurricanes will compete in eight collegiate tournaments, including beginning play with a pair of road tournaments Sept. 20-22.
The team will be split during the opening weekend, with one group heading to Columbia, S.C., for the University of South Carolina Invitational, while the other half will travel to the Garden State to compete in the Farnsworth Ivy-Plus, hosted by Princeton University.
The following weekend, select members of the team will battle it out at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships, hosted by the University of Georgia.
Up next for those Hurricanes who make the cut is a trip to Tulsa, Okla., for the ITA Men’s All-American Championship, which runs Oct. 5-13.
Oct. 11-13, a select group will compete in-state at the Bedford Cup, while another group will travel to Atlanta, Ga., to participate in the Georgia Tech Invitational.
The Canes will then close out the month of October at the Southeast Regional Championships in Gainesville, Fla., Oct. 24-27.
