Trio of Hurricanes Named ITA All-Academic Scholars
CORAL GABLES, Fla. –The University of Miami men’s tennis team added to its already impressive list of postseason academic honors, as redshirt junior Dane Dunlap, sophomore William Grattan-Smith and freshman Franco Aubone were each selected as 2018-19 ITA All-Academic Scholar Athletes.
The criteria for selection on the honor roll list are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
For the second consecutive season Dunlap finds his name on the prestigious list following another successful year in the classroom and on the hardcourt.
Transferring from Nebraska during the summer of 2018, Grattan-Smith has earned the honor in each of his first two collegiate seasons, while Aubone secures a spot on the list a month removed from locking up a position on the ACC All-Academic Team.
