Langmo and Soriano Remain in Oracle/ITA Doubles Top 20

CORAL GABLES, Fla.  Senior Christian Langmo and freshman Adria Soriano checked in at No. 20 in the latest edition of the Oracle/ITA rankings, as announced Tuesday.

The tandem, which has three top-20 wins this season, remains in the top 20 for second consecutive week after becoming the first Miami doubles pair to be in that position since 2009. Soriano and Langmo have a 5-4 overall record, including a 4-0 mark against nationally-ranked duos.

The two were once again ranked in singles as well, with Soriano checking in at No. 108 and Langmo at No. 123.

As a team, the Hurricanes (12-10, 3-7 ACC) remained ranked for fourth straight week and fifth time this season, checking in at No. 48.

Including Miami, all 10 Atlantic Coast Conference teams in last week’s rankings remained in the 50-team rankings. Top-ranked Wake Forest and No. 7 North Carolina found a top-10 position, followed by No. 11 Florida State, No. 22 Duke and No. 25 NC State. No. 26 Notre Dame, No. 37 Virginia Tech, No. 41 Louisville and No. 43 Virginia rounded off the conference representation.

Miami will welcome two ranked opponents on the final weekend of the regular season, taking on Duke Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. and UNC on Senior Day Sunday at noon.
