LIVE STATS
Live stats for the contests against the Tribe (11 a.m.) and the Vikings (4 p.m.) will be available HERE.

THE SERIES
Miami (6-5, 0-3) resumes the series against William and Mary after a 71-year pause. The Hurricanes lead 2-1 all-time with victories in 1936 and 1937, which came with a total margin of 15-3. The Tribe took the last meeting, on Feb. 5, 1946, with an 8-0 sweep. The Canes, who will be seeking to end a three-match skid Sunday, already faced Colonial Athletic Association opposition this season, blanking Charleston, 7-0, on Feb. 23 to improve to 5-0 at home this season.

The meeting with the Vikings will be first in the history of both programs. Miami, which began its program in 1930 and has missed only three seasons since then, has never faced one of the 10 current Horizon League members.

HIGHLIGHTING MIAMI’S 2018 SEASON
-The Hurricanes will aim to extend their unbeaten home record this season. Miami has posted a five-match win streak in Coral Gables for second straight season, a feat that they have achieved four times in the last seven campaigns.

-Miami’s 6-2 start to the spring season was the Hurricanes’ best start since 2013.

-Miami freshmen have captured 18 singles wins this spring.

-No. 99 senior Christian Langmo earned his first ranked singles victory of the season last Sunday. The lineup leader, who is 7-2 in singles play, became the third Miami player to have been ranked this season after freshmen Adria Soriano (No. 99) and Bojan Jankulovski (101).

-Four of Miami’s five defeats have come in the hands of ranked opposition away from home.

LAST TIME OUT
Miami dropped a rivalry matchup to No. 16 Florida State, 4-0, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. The Hurricanes fell to 1-1 in neutral-site contests this spring. At the No. 2 position, Soriano took the first set against No. 16 Guy Iradukunda and was on his way to his first top-20 victory before play was halted.

SCOUTING THIS WEEKEND’S OPPONENTS
After starting the spring season on a five-match win streak, William and Mary (7-5, 1-0 CAA) has dropped five of the last seven contests. The Tribe will aim to end its Florida road trip on a high note after falling to Florida Atlantic, 5-2, and FGCU, 4-3, in its first two matches in the Sunshine State. William and Mary doesn’t have any players ranked in singles or doubles.

Just like Miami, Cleveland State (9-5) is a strong home team, carrying a 7-1 record in front of home crowd this season. The Vikings are in the midst of a six-match road stretch, winning two of the first three matches in it after going 0-3 away from home beforehand. The Vikings’ roster does not feature players that are ranked in either singles or doubles play.

UP NEXT
The Hurricanes have an ACC bye next week, but will make their second trip to Orlando, Fla., Sunday to take on UCF at 1 p.m.
