Seven W. Tennis Home Dual Matches Set for ACCNE
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Seven of the University of Miami women’s tennis team’s eight dual matches at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center this spring will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra.
This is the highest percentage of home dual matches that will be broadcast on any platform in program history and it is the first time all home conference matches will be shown live.
“This is amazing exposure for our women’s tennis program,” Miami head coach Paige Yaroshuk-Tews said. “I’m excited fans will be able to tune in for so many matches and see our talented team in action.”
Miami (1-1), currently No. 17 in the Oracle/ITA national rankings, will play six of its eight home matches against ACC foes.
The Hurricanes open home dual match play Feb. 10, when they take on FGCU at 11 a.m. That is the lone match that will not be televised.
Following that, Miami resumes play March 2 with a doubleheader against Pittsburgh at 10 a.m., and Florida Atlantic at 5 p.m.
Yaroshuk-Tews and the Hurricanes host fifth-ranked North Carolina March 16 at 4 p.m., and faces NC State two days later at 11 a.m.
Miami’s final three home matches are set for April 6 at noon against Boston College, April 8 at 11 a.m., versus Syracuse and April 15 at 11 a.m., against Virginia Tech.
