@CanesMensTennis To Host UCF & No. 46 Troy

CORAL GABLES, Fla. –  The University of Miami men’s tennis team will host the University of Central Florida Friday, Jan. 29 at 10:30 a.m., then will face No. 46 Troy University at 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center in Coral Gables, Fla.

The Hurricanes are ready to return to their home court after battling inclement weather conditions at the UNF Invitational last weekend. Miami dropped both matches in the Invite, falling to both Alabama and UNCW, 4-1, in Jacksonville, Fla. At the UNF Invitational, No. 23 Piotr Lomacki picked up a three-set, 6-2, 5-7, 6-4, victory over UNCW’s Santtu Leskinen and Jesse Flores defeated Grayson Goldin of Alabama, 6-0, 6-2.

Miami holds an all-time record of 14-2 against The Knights and a 2-0 overall record against the Trojans. No. 46 Troy posts a spring record of 1-4, facing five teams ranked in the top 70, while UCF holds an 0-1 record.

Miami will host their next nine matches in Coral Gables, Fla., at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center, including in-state rivals No. 31 Florida State (March 6), No. 13 Duke (March 11), and No. 9 North Carolina (March 13).
