Four Canes To Compete in Senior All-Star Games

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Four University of Miami football players are set to compete in two of the nation’s premier senior All-Star games this weekend as they prepare for the 2016 NFL Draft.

Hurricane wide receiver Rashawn Scott and safety Deon Bush will compete in the 91st annual East-West Shrine Game on Saturday.

Both Scott and Bush will play on the East Team roster, which will be coached by former NFL coach Charlie Weis. Scott will wear No. 11 and Bush will wear No. 2 – the same numbers they wore at Miami.

The East-West Shrine Game is set to kickoff at 4 p.m. EST inside Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. The game will be nationally televised on NFL Network. The game also can be heard on Sirius Satilite Radio.

In addition, Hurricanes Ufomba Kamalu and Calvin Heurtelou will take the field on Saturday at 6 p.m. as they compete in the 2016 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. The game will be held in Carson, Calif., on the campus of California State University Dominguez Hills. The game also will be aired live on ESPN2 and WatchESPN.

Kamalu and Heurtelou will play on the National Team, which will be coached by former NFL head coach Mike Martz. Kamalu will wear No. 74 and Heurtelou will wear No. 93.
