Day One of ITA Kick-Off Weekend Postponed

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Due to rain, the first day of the ITA Kick-Off Weekend tournament at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center has been postponded.

Action is set to start Saturday at 11 a.m. with No. 12 Miami, the top seed, taking on fourth-seeded Middle Tennessee. No. 41 Auburn, seeded third, and No. 69 Michigan State, seeded fourth, will play their match no earlier than 2 p.m.

The final day of matches will then take place Sunday. The winner of the event receives a bid to the ITA National Team Indoor Championship in Madison, Wis., Feb. 5-8. Miami has reached the field 11-consecutive years and 15 times overall.

Entry to the ITA Kick-Off Weekend is free to all fans and the Che Grill food truck will be at Saturday’s matches.  Live stats for the weekend’s competition will be available HERE.
