Lomacki Headed to USTA Futures Event

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami sophomore Piotr Lomacki will represent his home country of Poland this week at the USTA Futures in Birmingham, Ala.

Lomacki is in the main draw of the event and will face off against Patrick Daciek of the USA in the opening round on Tuesday morning. In the International Tennis Federation polls, Lomacki is ranked 894 while Daciek is No. 1196.

With a win, Lomacki would face the winner of No.669 Filippo Leonardi of Italy or No. 655, 8-seed Alexios Halebian.
