Bondar Wins a Pair of Matches at FGCU Invite
FORT MYERS, Fla. – University of Miami sophomore Kevin Bondar defeated players from Arkansas in both his singles and doubles matches Saturday at the 2015 FGCU Fall Invite in Fort Myers, Fla.
In singles, Bondar defeated Johan Den Toom in straight sets, including a tiebreak in the first set, 7-6 (7-5), 7-2. In doubles, Bondar partnered with teammate Nile Clark to defeat Austin Robles and Jacob Herndon, 8-4.
Clark was defeated in his singles match, 6-3, 6-3, by Santiago Munoz, and UM’s Niclas Genovese fell in three sets to Robles, 3-6, 7-6, 6-4.
Play wraps up Sunday at 10 a.m. when Miami faces host school, FGCU. A complete schedule is listed below.
