Miami Offers Seats For Soldiers Program
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami Athletics department is offering Hurricane fans the chance to give back to the men and women that protect our nation with the inaugural Seats For Soldiers program.
The Seats For Soldiers initiative will allow fans to purchase Miami football tickets for members of the South Florida military personnel when the Hurricanes take on Virginia on Nov. 7 during Military Day.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for our fans to give back to the men and women who selflessly defend our great nation on an everyday basis,” said UM Director of Athletics Blake James. “They keep us safe from harm and we want the Hurricane Family to help us give them a day to remember and a chance for us to recognize their service.”
Ticket package incentives range in five different categories, ranging from $20 – $10,000 and will provide fans with different rewards.
Cat 1 Package $20
-Provides one ticket to a military member.
Cat 2 Package $200
-Provides 10 tickets to military members.
Cat 3 Package $1,000
-Provides 50 tickets to military members.
-Game recognition on the scoreboard.
-A complimentary copy of the gameday program.
Cat 4 Package $4,000
-Provides 200 tickets to military members.
-Game recognition on the scoreboard.
-Recognition in the gameday program.
-A complimentary copy of the gameday program.
Cat 5 Package $10,000
-Provides 500 tickets to military members.
-Game recognition on the scoreboard.
-Recognition in the gameday program.
-A complimentary copy of the gameday program.
-A replica gameday jersey signed by the entire 2015 Miami Hurricanes.
Tickets that are purchased through this program will be donated to the U.S. Coast Guard of Miami, the Homestead Air Force Reserve Base, the NAS-Key and the VA Wounded Warriors project.
