#FlatSebastian - Ibis Around the World

Who?
Sebastian the Ibis!

What?
This is a spin-off from the “Flat Stanley” project. This started off as a project for kids to create their own “Flat Stanley” paper cutouts and mail them to friends and family around the globe. Originally, this project was meant to foster literacy activities for kids and get them excited to write about Stanley’s adventures. Friends and families can take pictures with “Flat Stanley” in front of famous buildings, well-known locations, in their homes, etc.

How?
Now it is Sebastian’s turn! Print out the Sebastian graphic, and take pictures of him or with him anywhere you go.

Two ways to do this:
1. Traditional: If you want to keep with the tradition, you can mail your printed Sebastian graphic to friends and family, so they can take pictures and continue to mail him out to others around the world.
2. Modern: You can send your friends and family the link, so they can print Sebastian out and take pictures.

Where?
Here, there, everywhere, and all around the world! You’ll be able to see where Sebastian has gone by searching “#FlatSebastian”

• Tweet the pictures to @MiamiHurricanes with the hash tag “#FlatSebastian”
• Upload the pictures to Facebook using “#FlatSebastian”
• Instagram the pictures and use “#FlatSebastian”

When?
June 1 – August 31.

Prizes
Sebastian will select his ten favorite photos and send the winners a pair of ibis-eye sunglasses. Fans will then have the opportunity to vote the best of the best for the opportunity to meet Sebastian. (Meeting Sebastian is only valid in the Miami Dade area).

Why?
We know him, so we want the whole world to know him too!
