W. Tennis Faces UCLA Tonight in Sweet 16

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The 12th-ranked Miami Hurricanes women’s tennis team takes on third-ranked UCLA in the NCAA Round of 16 tonight at 7 p.m. in Athens, Ga.

A rain-soaked Thursday morning has already shifted today’s 9 a.m. and noon matches to indoor facilities in the area. Half of the morning matches were moved inside the University of Georgia’s indoor facility and the other half were moved to Georgia Tech—nearly an hour and a half away.

It’s unclear and too early to tell at this point where and when Miami’s 7 p.m. match will be played, but an effort will be made to play the match outdoors.

The Canes are playing in their ninth straight Sweet 16 and aim to advance to their sixth straight Elite Eight with a win against the Bruins tonight.

If the match is played outdoors, there will be live video available HERE. In the event that the match is played at Georgia Tech, there will only be live scoring available.
