Roseboro Called Up by Western New York Flash
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Former Miami Hurricanes midfielder Jordan Roseboro was called up by the Western New York Flash of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), it was announced Tuesday.
Roseboro, a 2013 graduate of the University of Miami, played in 66 games during her four years with the Hurricanes. The Mechanicsville, Va., native played a pivotal role in the team’s back-to-back appearances in the NCAA postseason (2011, 2012), and helped guide Miami to an appearance in the 2012 ACC Championship – the program’s first in four seasons.
Roseboro finished her career with six goals and four assists, including a career-high three goals and two assists during her sophomore season (2010).
The Western New York Flash is one of eight founding members of the National Women’s Soccer League. The club won the inaugural NWSL Shield after finishing the 2013 with the best regular-season record.
The Flash will take on FC Kansas City Wednesday at Sahlen’s Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
