The Game
Miami plays its first road game of the season on Monday, Nov. 14 when the Canes face College of Charleston at 7:30 p.m. in the TD Arena in South Carolina. The game is the first of the Wooden Legacy for both teams.

This is the first meeting between the University of Miami and College of Charleston.

CANES SHOOT 50 PERCENT IN BOTH HALVES
Miami hit 18-36 (50%) in the first half and 17-33 (51.5%) in the second stanza to drain 35-69 (50.7%) against Texas Southern. The last time Miami shot better than 50 percent from the field was Feb. 13, 2013 at Florida State when Miami hit 73.9 percent (17-23) and 54.2 percent (13-24) for a total of 63.8 percent for that game. The Canes shot 31.1 percent against St. Francis Brooklyn and 39.1 percent against Georgia Southern to start the year.
EVERYONE GETS A SHOT
In two straight games, five or more players have scored in double-digits for the Canes.
Four players – Donnavan Kirk, Rion Brown, Garrius Adams and Manu Lecomte – are averaging at least 11.0 ppg while James Kelly (9.0ppg) and Davon Reed (7.0 ppg) are close behind.
SHARING THE BALL
Miami recorded 21 assists against Texas Southern after only 12 against GSU and only five handouts in the season opener against St. Francis Brooklyn.
THE RIGHT STATS
UM has averaged 12.7 assists and 9.0 steals in three games, along with just 9.7 turnovers per night. Opponents have averaged 10.7 assists, 3.7 steals and 14.7 turnovers.
KELLY BREAKS OUT
Transfer James Kelly registered 17 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in 28 minutes against Texas Southern after totalling 10 points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal in 25 minutes in the first two games. Against TSU, Kelly drained a trio of 3-pointers, his first of the year.
ADAMS MAKES IMPACT IN RETURN TO CANES
Senior Garrius Adams has scored in double digits in all three games this season, with 15, 13 and 10 points, respectively. The last time Adams scored in double digits three-straight games was against UNC (12), at Virginia Tech (11) and vs. Georgia Tech (11) in 2011. He has never had four-straight games with 10+ points. Adams has totalled 11 steals, seven assists and 12 rebounds in three games so far this season.
DOUBLE-DOUBLES FOR THE CANES
In three games, Miami has recorded a trio of double-doubles. Rion Brown was just one assist short of the school’s first triple -double since 2004 when he tallied 13 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists against Texas Southern. Donnavan Kirk posted his second-straight double-double, with 18 points and 10 rebounds, against Georgia Southern, after his 16-point, 10-rebound performance against St. Francis Brooklyn. Prior to the game against SFB, Kirk had never recorded a double-double.
