Men's Tennis Will Play in Jack Kramer Invite

CORAL GALBES – Half of the University of Miami men’s tennis team will travel to Rolling Hills Estates, Calif., for their last tournament of the year. The senior class, consisting of Gabriel Flores, Omar Aly and Diego Soto, along with junior Wilfredo Gonzalez, will participate in the Jack Kramer Club Invitational from November 1-3.

The Hurricanes will be competing against Loyola Marymount, UC Santa Barbara, Southern Methodist, Baylor, Pepperdine, UC Irvine and University of Washington. Play each day will begin at 9 a.m.

Each Cane is looking to improve his current season singles record this weekend. Flores has a current record of 2-3. Aly, Soto and Gonzalez share the same record of 2-2.

Dual matches will start again on January 11, 2014 when the Hurricanes host Liberty University.  Play will begin at 10 a.m. at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
