MTen to Play at USTA/ITA Southeast Regional
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s tennis team will travel to Atlanta, Ga., to compete in the USTA/ITA Southeast Regional Championships, which will be held at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex, October 11-15.
The Hurricanes will face a great deal of competition, as Miami will be one of 17 schools who have players in the main draw or qualifying draw. Opponents include: Bethune-Cookman, UCF, Florida, Florida A&M, FAU, FGCU, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State, Mercer, North Florida, USF and Stetson.
Play Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will begin at 8 a.m., and Monday and Tuesday at 9 a.m. There will be a 32-player qualifying draw Friday, and the main draws (64-player singles, and 32-team doubles) begin Saturday.
