University of Miami men’s tennis head coach Mario Rincon will host the annual Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camp this summer at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center. Campers must be ages 5-17. Boys and girls of all skill levels are welcome. The camp is set to run in two separate sessions, from June 10-14 and June 17-21.

There are two registration options available for campers. The full-day option runs daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with an early dismissal on Friday at 3 p.m. and costs $325, while the half-day option operates from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and only costs $185.

Under coach Rincon’s guidance, campers will learn an array of tennis techniques through hands-on instruction, including situational drills, live-ball drills and ball-feeding drills. Participants will also have the chance to put their new skills to use in team competition drills and singles and doubles match play. All drill sessions are held in small groupings to ensure individual attention is paid to each camper.

All participants will receive camp T-shirts, water bottles and other prizes. At the end of the morning session, full day campers will have the option of swimming to cool off. Safety is prioritized at the camp and in the swimming pool.

University of Miami employees who wish to enroll a child into the camp will receive a $20 discount. Parents who send multiple children to the camp are also eligible for a $20 discount.

The 2006 ACC Coach of the Year, Rincon has led the Hurricanes to five NCAA tournaments during his tenure. He has also guided four players to 11 All-American honors and has consistently placed the Hurricanes in the nation’s top-75.

Rincon’s personal resume is impressive. After a successful nine-year stint in the professional ranks, including appearances in the Australian Open, Wimbledon, French Open and U.S. Open, Rincon will bring priceless insight and a wealth of knowledge to his training camp.

All of the University of Miami’s camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
