CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The No. 59 University of Miami men’s tennis team is prepared to take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in Atlanta, Ga. on March 13. The match will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the Bill Moore Tennis Center.

Miami (6-4, 0-3) continues their road trip at Georgia Tech after a tough loss to Clemson on Sunday.

Omar Aly had a great day against the Tigers as he defeated Clemson’s Gerardo Meza in straight sets, 6-3 and 7-6. The duo of Gabriel Flores and Diego Soto also earned a win against the Tigers as the defeated Cedric Wellems and Ayrton Wibowo 8-6 in doubles play.

Georgia Tech (5-7, 0-2) is on a two match losing streak as they ready to take on the Canes. They are also coming off a loss to Clemson in the team’s last match as they were defeated 4-3 last Sunday.

The Yellow Jackets are led by their two nationally ranked players Kevin King and Juan Spir who are ranked No. 13 and 101, respectively. The pair is also ranked No. 2 in doubles play.

Following Sunday, the Hurricanes will return home on Sat., March 17 to take on Alabama at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
