CORAL GABLES, Fla.–University of Miami Athletics is inviting fans to a football-baseball doubleheader on Sunday, March 4.
The UM football team will open their second practice of the spring season to all football season ticket holders, baseball season ticket holders and any person who has purchased a ticket to the Canes highly-anticipated baseball game against Florida.
Practice starts at 11 a.m. on Greentree Field and will conclude in time for first pitch between the Gators and Canes at 1 p.m.
In between football and baseball, 3 Penny Films will debut the first Season 2 episode of the wildly popular Raising Canes series on the jumbotron at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field. The debut episode will air live at 12:45 p.m. and will be available on Monday on YouTube.com/CanesAllAccess.
For season ticket holders and fans planning to attend, details for entrance, parking, tickets and concessions can be found below.
How Do I Get In?
All football season ticket holders and anybody that has a ticket to the March 4th baseball game vs. Florida will be allowed into the practice. Football season ticket holders will need to bring their postcard invitation for admittance.
Baseball season ticket holders will need to show their ticket for Sunday’s game for admittance.
Any Costs?
Non-football or baseball season-ticket holders may purchase a $10 general admission ticket to the Canes baseball game on March 4 and ALSO gain entry to the practice, while tickets remain.
Football season ticket holders and Hurricane Club members wishing to attend the Canes baseball game against Florida may purchase a ticket for $5 upon entering the football practice, while tickets remain.
Parking
Fans planning to attend “Fan Appreciation Day” may park in the Ponce de Leon parking garage. [Map]
Entrance to Practice
All fans will enter through the gate located at the rear of the Ponce de Leon parking garage. Attendants and signs will direct fans to the entrance.
Viewing Access
Fans will able to view the practice from three sides of the field. The viewing area will be roped off. For your safety and the safety of the players, please remain in the viewing area at all times.
Concessions
A concessionaire will be on hand with water, soft drinks and ball-game fare for purchase.
Video and/or recording devices are NOT permitted during the practice. Coach Golden and his staff appreciate your assistance with this as they prepare for the upcoming 2012 season.
