Devon Hill named Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week
April 3, 2011
Senior All-American Devon Hill of the track team has been selected as this week’s Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week. This is the third time a track athlete has won the award this season.
In the short hurdle events at the Jim Click Shoot Out, Hill provided the highlight of the meet, running away with the victory in the 110 meter-hurdles with a personal-best time of 13.51 seconds. Hill’s time also qualifies him for the upcoming U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon in June. His time was the fastest non-wind aided time of the field.
The men’s 4×400 relay of Darrell Butler, Hill, El-Sabawi and Cook capped off the meet with a second-place finish in a season-best time of 3:12.58 as well.
