No. 31 Men's Tennis Hosts a Pair Weekend Matches

Coral Gables, Fla. – After nearly two weeks away from competition, the No. 31 University of Miami men’s tennis team will host a pair of matches this weekend, beginning with a makeup date versus Stetson on Fri., Feb. 19, at 2 p.m., followed by a match versus UCF on Sun., Feb. 21, at Noon.

The Hurricanes (2-2) open competition versus the Hatters on Friday, in a match that was previously rained out on Jan. 23, to kick start a four-match homestand. Friday’s match will be held on campus at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.

However, the Hurricanes will take that home-court advantage across town to Moore Park in Miami, on Sunday versus UCF. For the second-straight year, the UM men’s tennis squad will host a match there alongside the City of Miami Parks and Recreation Department and the Greater Miami Tennis & Education Foundation in order to promote tennis to socially and economically challenged youth.
