CORAL GABLES, Fla. – After opening the season with back-to-back wins against ranked Atlantic Coast Conference opponents, the ninth-ranked Hurricanes will look to make it three in a row when they travel to Blacksburg, Va. to face No. 11 Virginia Tech Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.

Wins at No. 18 Florida State and vs. No. 14 Georgia Tech have propelled the Hurricanes into the AP Top 10 at No. 9. It is the first time the `Canes have been ranked in the Top 10 since the final regular season poll of the 2005 season. The `Canes opened the 2009 season unranked in both polls.
