HURRICANES COMPLETE FINAL PRACTICE BEFORE FLORIDA STATE

Oct. 18, 2007

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – – The University of Miami football team held its final practice of the week Thursday afternoon at the Greentree Practice Fields. UM will face intrastate rival Florida State at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee.

“Practice was great,” UM head football coach Randy Shannon said. “The intensity level was great. We had great two-minute drills. The guys flew around this whole week.”

Shannon said redshirt freshman defensive tackle Josh Holmes and senior wider receiver Lance Leggett will not play against Florida State.

The Hurricanes will hold a walk-through Friday morning before departing for Tallahassee in the afternoon.
