Cohen Falls at Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships

TULSA, Okla. – Miami senior Josh Cohen fell to NC State’s Jay Weinacker in three sets (2-6, 7-6 (2), 6-2) Monday in the qualifying round of the 2006 Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships at the University of Tulsa’s Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

Cohen, ranked No. 54 nationally in singles, fell to the Wolfpack sophomore ending his stay at the national tournament which offers the first national singles and doubles titles of the 2006-07 collegiate tennis season.

Teammate Luigi D’Agord – ranked No. 3 nationally and one of the top seeds in the tournament – will pick up play Thursday in the main draw with the start of the first and second rounds.

D’Agord and teammate Daniel Vallverdu, who are ranked No. 4 nationally in doubles, will also play Thursday in the double main draw.
