Former Hurricane Luis Manrique Competes at 2006 NASDAQ-100 Open

MIAMI, Fla. – Former University of Miami men’s tennis player Luis Manrique will pair up with Guilermo Coria Friday against Andy Roddick and Robby Ginepri in the first-round draw of the 2006 NASDAQ-100 Open held at the Tennis Center of Crandon Park.

Manrique, a native of Ecuador, played three seasons with the Hurricanes from 2002 to 2005.

He will team with Gulermo Coria, who has been ranked as high as No. 3 on the ATP circuit, on Court 1 tonight against Roddick and Ginepri in the 32-team field.
