Hurricanes Ranked No. 14 in First ITA Computer Rankings

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Miami is ranked 14th in the first Fila/ITA computer rankings released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
Second-year head coach Mario Rincon and the Hurricanes, who are 7-2 overall and 2-1 in the ACC, were ranked No. 17 in last week’s poll which was determined by a panel of voters.
Individually, junior Luigi D’Agord is ranked No. 11 in the computer rankings. D’Agord is 6-1 in dual play this spring and 20-4 overall with a 10-3 record versus ranked opponents dating back to the fall.
Junior Josh Cohen is ranked No. 60 in the singles ranking. Cohen 7-2 this spring with a perfect 5-0 record at the No. 2 position. He is 19-4 overall this season.
The Hurricanes return to action Tuesday, hosting No. 41 Louisiana-Lafayette at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center at 1 p.m.
