Hurricanes Host USF Sunday

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Miami, ranked 18th in latest Fila/ITA collegiate rankings, looks to extend a three-match win streak Sunday, playing host to in-state rival USF at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center at 10:30 a.m.
Coming off a 7-0 win over UCF last Sunday in Coral Gables, Miami is 5-1 this season with three wins over ranked teams.
The Hurricanes are led by junior Luigi D’Agord who is ranked No. 8 nationally in singles behind an overall record of 18-4, including 10 wins over ranked opponents.
Junior Josh Cohen is ranked No. 18, posting a 5-1 record in dual play with a 17-3 overall record this season.
UM’s most consistent player this spring has been senior Tim Krebs who is undefeated at 5-0 this spring.
In doubles, Cohen along with senior Eric Hechtman boasts a perfect 5-0 record in dual matches.
South Florida is 1-2 on the year after falling 6-1 on the road at Auburn Friday.
