Fellow classmate Tim Krebs – ranked 67th nationally in singles – holds UM’s second-best record in dual play with a 9-5 mark while sophomore Josh Cohen heads into the weekend having won three-straight matches at the No. 1 position.
In doubles Krebs along with freshman Vivek Subramanian remain undefeated at 11-0 this spring and are the only duo in the ACC to post a 5-0 mark in conference play.
UM is 3-0 all-time against the Cavilers and downed Maryland in the two school’s only previous meeting.
