Coral Gables, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – University of Miami head men’s basketball coach Frank Haith has hired Michael Hunt, Barclay Radebaugh and Jorge Fernandez as assistant basketball coaches.

Hunt joins the UM staff after spending the last three seasons as the head coach at Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland. Hunt, who was 23-63 in his three seasons at Towson, spent three seasons as an assistant at the University of Tennessee and four seasons at the University of Georgia before taking over at Towson.

Radebaugh comes to Miami after one season as the head coach at Queens University of Charlotte. Radebaugh, who last season led Queens to a 21-8 record, spent two seasons as an assistant at Winthrop and was an assistant at South Carolina under head coach Eddie Fogler for seven seasons prior to taking over the Royals’ head coaching duties.

Fernandez, a Miami native, spent the last two seasons as an assistant at the University of South Alabama and prior to that served seven seasons as an assistant at the University of Central Florida. The Killian High graduate began his coaching career at Barry University in 1988 and later moved to the University of Miami where he worked two seasons as a graduate assistant under Bill Foster and Leonard Hamilton.
