Bradley Wins Singles Title at the Wilson/ITA South Regional Championships

Tuscaloosa, Ala. – First seeded Megan Bradley defeated Georgia’s Shadisha Robinson, the No. 3 seed, 6-3, 6-4 to claim the Wilson/ITA South Regional Championships singles title Monday morning on the campus of the University of Alabama.

Last season, Bradley was defeated by Robinson in three sets 5-7, 6-3, 6-3 in the semi-final round of the 2003 ITA Southern Regional Championships.

With the win, Bradley improves to 14-1 in the fall season and earned a bid the ITA Intercollegiate Indoor Championships that will be held Nov. 4-7.

On Sunday Bradley, along side teammate Audrey Banada, took home the doubles title after defeating Florida’s Lolita Frangulyan and Whitney Benik by default.
