Bradley Seeded First in Wilson/ITA South Regional Championships

Coral Gables, Fla. – No.2 ranked Megan Bradley was named the number one seed in the “A” singles draw of the Wilson/ITA South Regional Championships that will be hosted by the University of Alabama Friday, October 22 through Monday, October 25th.
Bradley will also pair up with teammate Audrey Banada as the fourth-seeded doubles team. The duo was ranked 28th in the ITA preseason rankings.
Joining Bradley in the “A” singles draw will be classmate Staci Stevens (91), who is seeded 13th, and juniorMelissa Applebaum (121) who took the 16th and final seed.
The champions from both singles and doubles will be rewarded with invitations to the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships that will be held at the University of Michigan November 4-7. The event will be the second of three national championship events held during the season.
Eight of the nation’s top 50 collegiate singles players, as well as, the country’s premier doubles teams from 21 schools and four states will take part in the four day event.
Play will begin on Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. cst.
